Belarus: Europe isolates Minsk after Lukashenko orders Ryanair airplane to land, detains Protasevich



The measures, backed by all 27 E.U. leaders, have been an unusually quick and highly effective response to the brazen transfer by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, who on Sunday despatched a MiG-29 fighter jet to grab a Ryanair airplane out of the sky because it was flying from Athens to Vilnius, Lithuania, and arrest one in every of its passengers, Roman Protasevich, the founding father of an opposition media outlet.
