Survey of ~400 open-source code maintainers reveals poor pay, with 46% saying they go unpaid and, of those that had been paid, solely 26% say they earn $1K+ yearly  —  Sustaining open-source code is a crucial however hectic job.  Regardless of that, a current Tidelift survey discovered that just about half of code maintainers aren’t paid in any respect.
